Great start. Nice and easy that first year. I put up similar numbers as you last year, my first year...slightly less. This year, I put in a lot less...I relocated and am now only 12 miles from the job instead of 45. I had my longest ride this year, about 240 miles in one day. Got too many family things going on with a new baby to get much riding in.
As long as you want to get back in the saddle right after climbing out of it....you are doing good.

The mustang seat was well worth it. 40 miles on the stock seat was about all my butt could handle.
I was hoping to have upwards of 5,000 miles this first year, but vacation, funerals, and the constant summer afternoon/evening thunderstorms sidelined me for a couple of months. I'm running around 150 miles a week now, so next years numbers should be better.
