so...with 10 days into the 25 day contest gone...trying to get a look at what projected number might be come dec 6...my formula tells me that with starting number at 44,211 and yesterdays number at 45080..thats 869 miles so far. So to make things more confusing... figure we are 40% into contest and to figure by %'s will divide 40% by 2=20% X 5...that would be 435 X 5..I think that comes to 2175 if i follow the same riding pattern...which would make it 46,386...M50Dave..46,675 or
bigbird 46,121...however new englands weather patterns...although still looking promising...well....do plan on taking serious advantage the next 3 days of warmer (50's) temps...today hopefully 2+..tommorrow stay out of the wifes hair while she preps dinner...that should be good for 3-4 hours..and friday...planned ride with others here from 11 a.m. in mid 50's temps till whenever... keeping fingers crossed .. hopefully extra mileage will offset any future riding days maybe lost to bad weather...still sticking with my original guess..peprice...47,320.

Day 11...Wednesday...another nice day to ride...even with all the expected traffic getting an early start for the holiday...made every attempt to go where perhaps they would not be driving and pretty much lucked out...garage door opened up with
 on the dial... 2 1/2 hours later as darkness began to make itself known...garage door closed behind me and  displayed itself before shutting it down for the day. Beginning to look like a strong possibility of at least 2 casualties by the weekend...hope T-Man 45,450 and Kawessttex 45,451 didn't go too far,,,may need to make themselves available sooner than they think...think its that time for some measurements guys. Remember to stop by and see a certain someone afterwards for your review....
