Story of my life, close but no cigar.

Rode to work today, 26 degrees this morning, but it was dry and didn't have to worry about what the black stuff on the road might be.

Probably too late to wish you well on your surgery, but I do anway. Best of Luck!

Yes ^^, well thought-of!

Dennis, hope all went well and that you're recovering in (relative) comfort, and will soon be back in the saddle.

all went well...although once the area was exposed needed a little bit more work than the original diagnosis...did tell me back when that once he did get inside the area he would have a more complete picture of what needed to be done...but still no real problem other than perhaps more discomfort and a bit more healing time will be required. Start pt tommorrow and since I never stopped doing my at home pt exercises I was doing before it was determined surgery would be required..figured if I kept the knee as strong as possible it would help with the recovery...would have been easy to stop doing it and then resume after the surgery but figured it might help to get me riding sooner so what the h#ll...make the effort and hope it does make a difference...guess we'll see. Now where is that bell I plan to ring every 15 minutes to get my wifes attention to bring me something I am fully capable of getting myself but sort of her punishment for cheating me out of one more day of cruising...not nice I know...but we are talking about being cheated out of a chance to sneak in one last chance to ride... and in the end it's probably better driving her crazy from the ringing of a bell than

one of those hmmmmmmm moments tho.

Glad to hear all went well. You'll be glad to hear there is rain in the forecast for the next 5 days.

Make sure to let your wife know that you can't crouch down to do the chrome polish on the bike and that she'll have to get it done for you or it will rust.

was working on figuring a way to lift it onto the dining room table to give it a good winter cleaning/waxing/chrome polishing...I'm sure she wouldn't mind...better to keep my hands busy using rags than ringing a bell...always gotta have a plan.
