Day 20...Friday...well...cable guy was cable guy...showed up late afternoon and spent more time telling me what he had to do than actually doing what needed to be done......by the time the hours worth of work was done it was 2 1/2 hours later and darkness was settling in...bottom line...wasted day...no ridning done...will blame it on Cable Guy...should send him a bill...so 5 days left... but positive is warmer weather in the forecast. Daughter Move day tommorrow...wish i lived in one of those regions where its daytime 6 months a year..of course my luck it would now be the time where it would be 6 months of darkness instead...

I feel for you dealing with those idiots. We just changed to Comcast Triple play after having just their internet and cable for 15 years. It was a nightmare just getting everything to work. Even now if I want On Demand I have to reset the cable box. They don't know enough to leave well enough alone once everything is working right.

well...needless to say...c90 never left the garage...ugly..nasty day...glad I spent the day moving my daughter before heading into work....plan on getting out tommorrow for at least a few hours before heading over to her new place and keep her company while she awaits the delivery of a new stove she bought for her own housewarming present to herself... dropped her a hint the first thing she can use it for is to bake me a Shoo Fly Pie for todays efforts...could have sworn I heard her mumble something about that will cost you painting the ceilings as well...see what I mean...woman... all the same...even the ones you'd never expect it from....guess its welcome to the real world.

Shoofly pie (or shoo-fly pie or Montgomery pie)[1] is a molasses pie considered traditional among the Pennsylvania Dutch and also known in Southern cooking. The pie may get its name because the molasses attracts flies that must be "shooed" away.[2] The shoofly pie's origins may come from the treacle tart with the primary difference being the use of molasses rather than golden syrup.[3] A Montgomery pie is similar to a shoofly pie, except lemon juice is usually added to the bottom layer and buttermilk to the topping. A chess pie is also similar, but it is unlayered.
