^^ Thanks! You're just wonderful telling me that!
I put mine away last Monday, and today it's already 18C here, and sunny! Oh well, what can you do!

I can't honestly say that I ever "put mine away for the season". During this time of the year, I keep it on a tender so I can unplug it and ride at a moments notice. I always keep a bottle of fuel stabilizer handy. I just add some whenever I fuel it up, before parking it again, just in case we have an extended cold snap, or a lot of snow that doesn't go away in a few weeks.

I've found that this technique prevents the bruising that comes from kicking oneself because a beautiful day came out of nowhere in the middle of the winter months.

...no biggie ...we met near Steve's and had some catching up to do we chatted for quit a while. Steve must have left the ignition switch on with the lights after shutting down. The bike wouldn't start. I gave Steve a lift back to his place and he got some cables and a portable battery pack from his neighbour. We drove back with the truck to boost his bike. We then had to go back to get my bike from his place etc etc etc , This was the first time I have ever had a passenger on any motorbike . Quite the learning curve for me this year from Dover to riding double. We still got a nice ride in through the escarpment but unfortunately didnt have time to do our planned run to Double R Leather in Erin and the Forks of the Credit. I had a nice run out to Steve's on the Slab and after our very scenic ride I rode the Slab to Mississauga road south and cruized "The Shore" home. BTW looks like Double R is closing down for good in December.

All in all a great day. The Honest Abe mod sounds sweeeeeeet to me and I am still lovin the Super M50 Dave Drive mod.

Hope to catch up soon. If not the big Bike show at the International Centre is on the Weekend right after New Year. I usually go the Friday if anyone one else wants to do this. You know you are always welcome if you are ever in the Big Smoke. Cheers George
