Default driver passenger comunications

I've been looking over communication devices. I don't need bluetooth this and gps that and radio whatever. Just want passenger to driver talk. Anybody have any experiance with Chatterbox?? I've read good and bad. Any other brands worth looking at?

My brother I both have the FRS Chatterbox.
They have newer versions, GMRS that has a longer range.
They worked great for our trip to Canada. He was out of site and I still heard him in rush hour traffic.
It works great for bike to bike and driver to passenger. Also works fine for GPS and MP3. If the GPS speaks the MP3 player automatically cuts off. Or if the other biker or passenger talks the MP3 will cut off, then come back on.
Speakers are not very good, but it does work without spending too much money.
We use them all the time for Delmarva Bike week.

Maybe it is overkill, but my wife and I use a Sena system (SMH-10, I think). It has all that GPS and phone stuff--we never use it. But the driver to passenger communication is great. We just leave the connection open and talk whenever one of us has something to say. (Probably wouldn't be nice to say its more often the better half who has something to say.) The system is a little pricey, but it works like a dream.
