It's flush in the front and rear. I removed it again today and reinstalled, but I can't get it to fit any better. It's not a bad fit, just different than the original. Oh well, just going to ride and not worry.
Yeah, I guess 95% of mods go unnoticed unless the bike is parked! But we do them for ourselves most of the time. The wife is still sore about me taking off the passenger seat. .gif "Big Laugh")
