Well, the idea last month was to trade it in. The Vic dealer indicated they would offer $4k in trade. You and I know the price I bought it from you, so knowing that and how many wonderful miles I've put on it since, I felt that was a good deal. I think anytime you pass 40k miles on the odometer, trade value and resale value is diminished significantly each and every mile thereafter.
Personally, the bike is priceless... So, for now, I put new tires, SS brake line, brake shoes, and a weekly wash and wax and ride it like I stole it! I think its as clean and pristine as the day we loaded it in my truck at your house going on 3 years ago. Wife and I are heading to CA next month to ride PCH from LA to SF over several days of the Xmas and new years holiday.
Next summer, I will evaluate the savings acct again and see what deals are available for on the floor models 2013's. by then the Boulevard will have over 50k miles. Can't keep two bikes, so not sure yet.
