Nora glad to see you posting. Hope all is going well.

As far as salt, hate the stuff. They use what to much in my area, stopping on it sometimes reacts like riding on ice. Cold weather is no problem for me so I'll clean the bike after riding.

Where I live riding in the winter is just down right foolish and dangerous. We do get chinooks once in a while that can stay long enough to melt away all the snow, but riding on the remaining pea gravel is like riding on ball bearings. Black ice, snow, gravel...not a safe situation for motorcycles no matter where you live.

Wooohoo.
Was about 25F on my ride in this morning. I waited until after rush hour to make sure the frosty was off the road. Still on the grass. Didn't have to get on the highway, so that helps a ton. Just realized what that little black thing that came with my helmet was for. LOL. I'm such a noob. Kept my chin and neck warm, that's for sure.
Should be about 60 on my ride home...so it was well worth the cold this morning. My rain over-pants really help cut the wind and makes it bearable.

I'm too old to put things away until next season, as those are limited.

Yep I put my bike away last weekend.... such a sad day... Put over 7800kms on it in my first season of riding. Lots of plans for it next summer!

Going to do a little ridding this afternoon/evening. It is 41 out right now. Ride home might get a little brisk.

Man, we got up to 70 today...and I didn't get out at all.
Not sure how long this heat wave will last...hopefully, at least until Monday. I doubt I will be able to get out tomorrow either.
