Default This is Depressing!

Well today I rearranged the garage, Put Both the Shadow and My M50 up on the lifts. All the while it was SNOWING off and on all freakin day.
Put the baby Bike (Rebel) in the shed and waxed her all up. Its for sale now, no interest so I guess wait till spring.
Depressing as He!! seeing my M tucked in the corner surrounded by all my summer crap!... and my trailers in front.
Its gonna be a LONG LONG winter...

Another case of PMS - Parked Motorcycle Syndrome . Welcome to the club my fellow northerner.

We should start a support group or something. Of course, if we did that some of those lucky buggers from Texas, Cali, and FLA would be beakin' about how "cool" it was riding to work at 65 degrees F.

At least we in southern ALberta get the odd chinook throughout the winter where it gets to +15 or 20 C, then we unwrap the bikes from their cocoons and get a quick couple hours on 2 wheels before another foot of snow or -40 snap hits.

Dave
Yes it is a bummer.
I was thru Alliston yesterday when there were light flurries.
Friday am my wife and I were traveling to Horseshoe Valley, snow flurries and rain.
Today was in the garage woefully looking at the Volusia which I have not ridden on for a week.
Will be a long winter.
Looking forward to our vacation in Feb. 3 weeks in Kona, Hawaii and one week in Kauai.
Hope to rent a Harley for a day, same as last Feb.

Love that blue on your bike, nicest color on a bike in my opinion.

Yeah it's not fun putting the bike away.

I got out on mine today as it warmed up enough and the streets are clear.
Just went to Auto Value and picked up a couple cans of SeaFoam. Dumped a 1\4 can in the tank right there in the parking lot and headed straight to Shell and filled the tank with premium. Brought it straight home and I think that will be it for this year.

I will set up my garage so I can take some time this winter and get the fat lady ready for next year as there are a few things I can do in the down time instead or riding time.

I am an optimist I rode the day after New Year last year I only add Sea foam lift her off the ground in the garage and hook her up to the CTEK. Winterproofed but ready to ride in minutes.

BTW Part Source in Ontario has the Sea Foam on sale this week for 9 and change. Grabbed 2 cans and the shop seat on rollers for 19 and change.

why i am riding as much as I can this time of year even if just for quick jaunts, short loops...whatever time allows...pretty soon and maybe in the next few days we too will be getting the white stuff...rode to work the last 2 nites and riding home in the low 30's gave me chance to use the heated liner i recently purchased from a member here. Supposed to have a lunch meet next sunday...hopefully the weather gods are friendly.

This is why I have taken up bicycling.... I still get to roll on 2 wheels, no matter what the weather! How cold it is outside is irrelevant as I'm toasty warm before I finish climbing the first hill! Not to mention I can run knobbies on my cyclocross bike and ride through pretty much anything. Off season? What's that????
