Just purchased one of these from Lowes in NJ. I had them ship it to me as my local Lowe's doesn't carry it. It was 74.00 and some change shipped. There are 2 stores in NJ that have them if anyone is looking for one. The phone numbers for the stores are:

732-562-0505
201-662-0932

Just tell them that you live in a different state and need it shipped because you can't get it from your local store or on-line.

The item number is 366133

Well I ended up returning this jacket. It was missing the charger and Lowe's couldn't order one. I ended up purchasing a Milwaukee 2330-XL M12 12Volt Cordless Heated Jacket and a Milwaukee Tools M12™ Heated Jacket 12v DC Plug Adapter that allows me to plug it in to a cigarette lighter adapter. So I can go with a battery or 12 volt vehicle power.

Home Depot handles those up here. Haven't really looked at it as I'm very happy with the "Dakota" version from "Mark's".
What was the price for the Milwaukee? Does it fit well enough that it could be used under a leather jacket?

I found it on Amazon for $220.

Much more than the one Lowes is selling, I wonder if it works that much better? I have to say I like the idea of buying a heated jacket that you can use off the bike too.

Milwaukee 2330-XL M12 12Volt Cordless Heated Jacket-Extra Large | eBay

It was 88.00 on eBay new. The plug for the jacket to the vehicle DC power was 32.49. They do fit under a leather or any other jacket. It takes a larger battery but I can live with that if I'm standing outside with my dogs for 2 and a half hour in the cold.

I already own the M12 drill/driver with the batteries and charger so there was no additional cost for me for the batteries and charger to work with the jacket. I also like the idea of using it with the 12 volt power from the vehicle (motorcycle or car). Now if I could get my feet to stay warm that would be the finishing touch. A couple of years ago I tried battery powered electric insoles but they only lasted about an hour with the batteries.

don't know if you can still find them, but up until recently when I bought my synergy 2 heated liner, I have always used a tourmaster advanced 3/4 jacket. Was very reasonably priced new and with the liner in it, was very, very,l very warm. If I dressed with a sweater or sweatshirt underneath it, I never got cold no matter the temp.
I have had that jacket for years and is still in great shape, and I have not taken the best care of it. I still use it now for when the temp drops to below 45 and will get colder.

Is just my opinion which is not worth much.
1st, know that I am not rolling in money and buy stuff with care as for the most part, I do not have the extra money to just buy things to buy things (tho since all of the kids are now out of college and gone, I can buy some things I used to not be able to afford , like those leather heated gloves)
That being said.......
I have no doubt that the jacket at Lowes is a good deal. I often buy things like that. BUT, if you really ride your bike, and by that I mean you don't think twice about going on a 300+ mile ride for a day ride, do not let the weather slow u down too much etc.....tho it can seem a tad more expensive, buying gear specifically made for motorcycles is worth it - in my opinion.
Normally a decent jacket is made to keep you waqrm, dry, seen etc thru all types of weather, often has ventilation which can be very handy and even something as "trivial" as the pockets are made for peoople wearing gloves to be able to still get in them - and they are normally strategically placed. Not to mention they normally zip up higher to keep the neck warm and protect it from the wind.
When I got back into riding, years ago, money was very, very tight and I always bought non-motorcycle gear, which was cheaper and seemed like it would work just as well.
In many ways it did, but in many ways it also did not work nearly as well.
Once I broke down and bought a motorcycle jacket, I did discover the difference and was very happy.

The thing is, you can still get the stuff for a good price. Back when I had very, very little money to spend on gear, I discovered I could get some really nice deals on used stuff (ebay etc).
A good example is my tourmaster 3/4 advanced jacket. I had been wearing "regular" coats and was going to splurge and get a motorcycle jacket. At the time, these jackets were selling new for around $160-$170 dollars - the previous year......it was last year's "model".
I found one on ebay for $79.00 with the liner.
That was close to a decade ago, I still have that jacket and tho I have not taken the best car of it, still have it and it is in great shape. It's ventilated, warm as can be with the liner etc.....,.it really did make for a more enjoyable ride.
point is, if you spend some time and look around long enough, you can get some pretty decent gear at pretty good prices and it is made specifically for the needs of riders.

Again, not taking anything away from the jacket at Lowes and it may be the perfect jacket for you, but for me, I have come to appreciate the conveniences that gear made specifically for bikes gives me, and if one looks around, you can often find it way below retail......
some people prefer not to, but I have also bought used gear at great prices and been very, very happy. Often people may get the wrong size or find out they really don;t ride their bike like they thought they would, divorce etc...so they try to sell it on ebay for almost retail, but when it doesn;t sell, they eventually knock a lot off the price or they put it up for auction and it goes much cheaper.
Deals are out there, just depends on how much time you want to spend looking for them, or how fast you want it.
All just my opinion and what UI have found best , only for me, after tens of thousands of miles of riding. I often made do, but then found out there really was a difference, even if I did have to skip a lunch or 2 to get something, in the long run, was always glad I did.

Thanks for the suggestions but the need is more dual purpose.

I'm in a position that I can pretty much buy what ever I want but usually don't unless it's something that I need.

I live in MA and I've been riding since 1974. We get some pretty cold weather up here. Most of my riding is between 300 and 550 miles per trip unless it's running around town. I never found the need for heated clothing as I could bundle up and stay pretty warm with layers. I've ridden in snow, ice, and rain but prefer nice 60 - 75 degree days.

My reason for the Milwaukee jacket was dual purpose. The biggest problem that I have is when I take my 3 German Shepherds out it is usually for at least 2.5 hours for them to play and get some exercise. It can get pretty cold standing in the same spot for 2.5 hours even with my LL Bean coat. I decided on a heated jacket that I could use with batteries and if I get on the bike I could just plug in to the bike's power or when I drive my wife to work in the mornings I can just plug in to the car or minivan. I just use regular glove liners the non heated type inside my gloves in the cold weather and don't need heated gloves.

The one thing that I found is that if you can stand in the same spot for a few hours without getting cold in 10 degree temps with a windchill of 3 below then you can ride with whatever the gear it is that you have on and it will keep you warm.
