Just wondering if we have any "ironbutt" riders IBA - World's Toughest Motorcycle Riders
I might be willing to try some of their rides

Several of us have done the 1000... I did it with 2 other members in 18.5 hours on my 04 Volusia.

I did two on the C50 in one weekend the summer before last (1000 mile). Did it the hard way, I took backroads and two lane highways most of the way. Timed it so I would be in the desert in the middle of the night to watch the meteor showers, then slept a few hours on the bike in the desert...used the entire 24 hours. If you click on my sig line, I'm pretty sure all the boring details and pictures are in my ride blogs.
Then again, I love backroads. Maybe 18 hours on the interstate is the hard way. |
