Sadly, I put the bike into "winter storage" this morning. Won't see it again until the spring!
Rode thru a few freezing pellets on the way there! Was -1C when I left this morning. |

Changed the oil. 10W-40 for winter riding.
This past weekend I wrestled a new tire onto my spare rim, so this weekend I can just swap the wheel; and I'll check the driveshaft grease while I have it up in the air with the wheel off. |

Fired her up and gave her a good run with the new Honest Abe Mod. No longer the Moto-Suzzi-Singer G50. I am very happy with the results . (so far) , It was cold out there. I think the ear to ear grin is frozen in place for the night.

Rode both today and yesterday. Haven't decided about the Honest Abe mod, but I need to get some weather stripping or some RTV silicon to quiet down the rattle from the chrome visors I had installed.

Riding a new route from Mountainhouse (McConnellburg, Pa) to Berkely Springs, West By God Va. Might be the newest RIde in the springtime for our VR friends.

I got me some new sneakers. Metzeler ME880 wide white walls. Me like it. It changes the whole look of my bike.

I BOUGHT my bike today - a 2008 Boulevard M50 - and brought it home! So excited! Is it spring yet? It comes with forward controls but I'm gonna hafta adjust those - they are too forward for my shorter legs. It has also lost the backrest from the sissy bar. Anyone know where I could get a replacement backrest? The first thing I did after unloading it from the trailer was to wash 'n polish it. Can't wait for the warmer riding season to begin!

Hooked up my Battery Tender. With a foot of snow on the ground riding season may be over.

Looks good. Yeah I like the look of the WWW tires myself. I have the factory whities on mine now and the next set will have them as well. I don't know what brand comes from the factory but the Metzeler 880s seem to be a popular replacement set.
