Default Please help me....

.... I am a helmet addict. I just bought another one. One came with the bike so lets not count that since I use that for weedwacking now. I now have 2 half helmets (one with a flip down internal visor that I bought a clear shield for so when it gets dark I just take my sunglasses off, oh and those were $70), one 3/4 with the I-shade, one full face that I just bought a gold iridium shield for, one modular with an I shade, and now I just bought another modular with an I shade, Bell Revolver...for some stupid reason I needed a Bell Revolver. And I make fun of my daughter because of all the purses and cell phones she goes through. How do I stop this madness????

I have 4 and only wear 2 of them, a full face and a modular. I think I wore my half 2-3 times over the summer for short runs to the store. Haven't worn the 3/4 for probably 2 years. I want a new one too, I'm going to save up for an Arai or something along those lines.

Was wondering where you've been!

I have 3 helmets. For long trips I like the 3\4 with the full face shield just in case it rains.
Around town I use the 1\2 and when its cold I use the full face. All the wrong reasons for using them that way I do as I think a full face is best for protection regardless of where or how far your riding.
I would like a modular. When I do get one I'll make sure it fits proper and is comfy. At that point the other helmets will serve no purpose. Like anything, they keep coming out with new things built into the helmet to keep us buying.
I used to do the same thing with watches ........... and I don't wear one!

Myron, it could be worse.

You have 2 bikes and 5 helmets, right?

At least it's not 5 bikes and 2 helmets. THAT would get expensive!!

That is correct but the 6th one is on its way. If I got rid of the vette (I go back and forth on that quiet often moslty because of the additional insurance cost in NJ) then I could keep 5 bikes in the garage. But then I would get my Harley V Rod, or Night Rod, or whatever **** rod it is. I am definitely at critical mass and all of this certainly cannot hold. And when my 10 year old daily driver Buick with 170,000 miles on it craps out......well, things might change. I really had my eye on the Shark Evoline 2 but that's just a stupid amount of money for something you shouldn't use if you drop it more than 3 ft. Oh and if you want it with "Sharktooth", even more.
