Close to a year and a half guys... I've rebuilt an engine, mastered adjustments and made improvements. I'm a beeter man for the trip and in total right now, I'm out $3200... including all new tires and shipping for the bike!

It totally sucks, and I have one problem after another... And I wouldn't trade it for anything. Its a great bike and so easy to work on.

Besides, my brother in law owns a fabrication shop. Im going to clean and seal the tank and send it to Georgia for fixin

So, because of gasoline issues, I decide not to ship the tank. I go to my local secret cycle shop, reasonably priced and good.

Indeed, the gas tank maount vibrated a crack in the mount/tank assembly. About $200, and I am back in business. I am going to rubber mount everthing and put it back on this weekend. A Harley solution for a Russian Bike.

You know after seeing and riding Ronnie Vol with a sidecar I have a whole new respect for those who ride with sidecars. Those things can be very tricky!!! My hat's off to ya!
