Anybody heard of a Suzuki GSX1100G ??

I have a co-worker who is selling his. I don't have a lot of information on this model I am intrigue by its engine size and that its shaft driven, it has about 10,500 miles on it and it is a 1993 he is asking $2700 any feedback would be appreciated!

Looks like an old school Bandit but with a shaft drive. I love the Bandits but would get into soo much trouble with one hence why I got the C50. Yes that shaft cover looks pretty dented in and would highly recommend checking out the shaft to see if it has rubbed against it at all. If there are no signs that it has rubbed then I would say go for it if he will take $1900 or less just my opinion.

Those are VERY nice bikes! I've always liked them. The 1100cc Suzuki four is an EXCELLENT engine! I think the "dent" in the shaft is supposed to be there as clearance for the pipe on that side. It came stock with a four into 2 exhaust. It's FAST!

Quarter Mile Time: 1/4 mile. 11.32 sec. @118.42 mph
Time to speed: sec. 0-30 mph 1.2; 0-60 mph 3.1; 0-90 mph 6.2; 0-100 mph 7.8

I had one several years ago Suzuki made a matching sport fairing for it too . Really comfortable bike tons of torque ..

buy cheap sell high !

Thanks for all the feedback, I did look at the drive shaft and the indent does appear to be a factory design. Now I just have to see if I can negotiate a lower price!
