0 60

it will win against most cars adn loose to most motorcycles, but it

is important for merging,. It's fast enough to merge and overtake

big semi's , but I always wish , even though its pretty heavy, it

was a little heavier when passing a semi at 85 or 90, a few times

I backed off when passing a semi at that speed. Just as well stay

behind him, after all hes doing 75 or 80.

Riders know they need God! Others are
not as aware! closer to mortality is closer
to Him. tommytan

Motorcycle Consumer News timed a 2001 Volusia doing 0 - 60 mph in 6.22 seconds. The quarter mile was 14.44 seconds at 89.41 mph.

Check out their web site for a Performance Index of most motorcycles on the market. You will see that the Volusia will hold its own with some cruisers with twice the displacement.

Well, okay .... I got to wondering about 0-60 when the town's hippie in a 1980 Subaru wagon beat me at the light. However, I did shut down a cell phone soccer mom in a minivan.

You got to be very careful if you don't know where you're going, because you might not get there.
