2003 Volusia Intruder (40th Anniversary Model)

Hi guys,

I recently bought a bigger bike and was going to keep this one for my wife, but she wants to start on something smaller. This is a 2003 Volusia, anniversary model. Pearl white with saddlebags and detachable windshield. Just put new foot pegs on it and some Avon grips. Has had a recent oil change and I replaced the drive shaft. Bike is in great shape. 23,850 miles on it. I'm in the Savannah, GA area. $3,300 OBO. Thanks for looking.

Send me a message if interested or if you have any questions. Thanks.

Beautiful bike and good luck with the sale. Looked really hard at one of those when I was looking to buy my first bike. Lots of people here (women included) started riding on a VL800 and did so without any probs. It's a great size, well-balanced, etc. Hopefully you don't end up selling and then regretting that you did.

nice looking ride...wouldn't be so quick...if shes going to be learning...small is good but too often the small ones...250's are outgrown quickly and then as you know, find yourself shopping for a slightly bigger bike like the one above......I would have her take the course and then have her try out the vol...being somewhat more comfortable after the course it may not seem so overwhelming. Good luck.

Whats the big hurry...slow down and enjoy the ride!

What they guys said but now you will hear it from a Woman. Have your wife try this out. I was bent on a VStar 650. So glad I went with the VOL (a 2002). It is a great bike for a lady. So much so, I am looking at either changing out the drive or getting a bigger one. If your wife has any questions, please shoot me a PM.

Otherwise good luck with the sale - it's a beautiful machine.

great advice !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only Bikers understand why dogs love to stick their heads out car windows!

1960 - 1997 = scooter to goldwing

2006 - 2010 = 2006 c50c w/touring accessories and V&HCruzers.

2010 - present = 2009 Victory Kingpin Low in sandy graphite gray with Arlen Ness slash down pipes.
