I would think that most people on here are aware of the issues with stripping a driveshaft, so if they have a spare i really dont think they would let it go.

Got to be careful with ebay because the vz800 is not the same as the vl800...the vz800 is a short shaft like the vs1400 is to the vl1500...I know, I bought one...

The vz800 should be good as it is the marauder or m50 shaft (same part number as the vl800 c50 shaft). It is the vs800 (savage) shaft that is different. Be carefull though because there are a couple of vs800 shafts for sale where the seller states it will fit a vl800, c50, m50 etc . Not true. I almost bought one once and had the deal cancelled no questions asked because of the seller's mistake.
