I have for sale a Corbing Youn Guns seat that was on my '06 C50. I no longer have the bike so its time to find a new home for this seat. This will fit quite a few years but please make sure it will work for yours before buying. This was used for several years so it does have normal wear, but bike was always garage kept. I'm asking $200 shipped ups to your door. Thanks for looking!

Corbins, like most seats, are a love it or hate it thing. I happen to love my corbin on my Nomad. Done 600 mile days with no problem. They are hard seats, but on purpose, does not create hot spots like some soft seats. Don't let it scare you off just by just sitting on it, ride for a few hours and you will see why it's a good seat. (I have a mustang on my VOL but if I ever had to change it out I would check out the Corbin).

As Jendesigner said, it really is a person to person thing. I loved the seat, got it initially for the looks, but liked the comfort of it much more than the stock seat. My wife on the other hand preferred the stock pillion over the Corbin seat, which is pretty typical, its more for one up riding, not made for long distance 2 up riding. Wife seldom rode with me, if she did for a long trip, I'd put the stock back on to keep her happy.

I was asked if forward controls were needed with this seat, I am only 5'9", so I by no means needed them. Are there any taller guys here that can chime in on their experience with this seat and whether they felt foward controls were necessary?
Thanks! |
