OK, this is a long shot, but if anyone has a line on any used Roadhouse 2 into 1 pipes, please let me know. If anybody has been thinking of trading out theirs for something else, please let me know. I've been researching pipes for a while now, and am in no absolute hurry to get this done.
Too bad they shut their doors, the Roadhouse pipes would seem to fit the bill,- low rumble, not necessarily loud. I have an 06 C50 with stock pipes on now. And as other recent threads have indicated, I've considered both the V&H, and the Jardines, but reviews on both are inconsistent as to whether they're loud, as well as just what constitutes loud to begin with. (When you're 58, loud is louder than it was 30 years ago, even after factoring in hearing loss because of just how much louder loud was then). So the latest focus is the Roadhouse pipes, which have been consistently rated throughout as relatively quiet. As I said, long shot on availability, but I'll never know unless I ask. |

They are the best IMHO. They also have a low enough mount to allow for larger bags if you want.
I got mine used too. Good Luck in your search.

Thans Capt Creole. It'll probably take that and more. I don't foresee too many parting with their pipes, but gotta try.
Nice bike, btw. Love the color combos. Local HS team colors are red and black, and that bike would look nice in the 10 minute parade up here in the sticks. They'd be talking about it for weeks! Where'd you get your hard bags? |
