This summer, like the previous ones, myself and my oldest son along with some of our friends make a weekend roadtrip to someplace we have never been before. This summer we left Friday afternoon and rode across northern Missouri to the southeast corner of Iowa. There we camped on that night and hung out with some friends. The following morning we rode across into Illinois and along the Mississippi river and then to Winterset Iowa. We camped at the City Park there that night, and then went to see the sites the next day. Winterset is the birthplace of John Wayne, and they have a nice little museum in the house where he was born. Madison County, (Winterset is the county seat) is home to several covered bridges, and was the location for the movie "The Bridges of Madison County" We only had time to see one covered bridge, and that was in the city park. We rode home from there on Sunday... The total trip was right at 900 miles. It was a good way to end the summer before the boys went back to school.
Here is the video link...

One of the best videos I've ever seen. Perfect narration. Well balanced.
Do you work in the motion picture business?

That's a keeper!
![]() I want to learn how to do that, be able to edit, but I need a new computer to be able to. Can you post a pic of your camera mount. It seems you have a swivel of sorts and I have been looking for one.

I could post a pic of my camera mount, bu you would be disappointed... ![]() Just to prevent any misunderstanding, I used more than one video camera for the production of that video. My Gopro just mounts on the regular adhesive snap mount that comes with the camera. It is mounted on the top of the left side forged crash bar on my Victory Cross Country. I sometimes unsnap it and take video by panning around holding it in my hand. I did just recently purchase a wifi remote for the GoPro and I am looking forward to using that next season. I also utilize a little Kodak Playsport HD video camera for some of the shots as well. It is also just held in my hand, or in this case may son uses it to get some video, and then I edit them all together into the final product. I haven't had a lot of success with mounts the swivel etc... So sorry if you have to continue your search for a mount that works for you, I just gave up and am doing what I described above.
