Nicely done. How long did the editing take?

Hmm, guess I'll have to do the same maybe.
I have a GoPro that I haven't opened yet .............. had it for a good year. I use the Drift camera as it seems to suite my needs better. Maybe I'll have to mount one front and rear.

I'll figure something out. Thanks.

Editing took from August until now....

It is easy and can be done in much less time, but I just did it a little at time... There was a few weeks I might have spent 20 minutes, and there were weeks when I did nothing to it at all. I was too busy riding to chain myself to the PC and edit video, but I would take a stab at the total hours being about 12-15. I think when you take longer to do things like this, the finished product benefits from it. I had the majority of the video laid out in the first week, then it was just adding effects, and trimming clips to make it short enough. The narration was added in less than an hour, just winging it as I watch video sections, and the music was added as the video progressed. The balncing of audio took a fair amount of time because I haven't learned all of the tricks to the software yet, but I will get quicker as I go.

Just a note to anyone who wishes to pursue something like this... There is a fine line between having too much video, and having the right amount. The more you shoot, the longer and tougher the editing process. It's easy to shoot a lot of things that you think are relevant at the time, but then later during edit, you realize you can't include every moment of a ride or trip, and maybe it wasn't as relevant as you thought at the time...

I tried to make this capture the mood and essence of a trip with a group of close friends, and not just a "ride down the road video". My boys, and my friend Jeff all agree that I accomplished that. If I made someone feel like they wanted to be there for the ride, fun and camaraderie, then that was what I was trying to do.
