Default Best 30 Miles Ever...

There are many miles that can make a wonderful ride but none better than the 30 miles I took today...

Today was the First 30 miles of My Beautiful Lovely Wife riding 2up with Me...

There was a Shop that sells Antiques, nick knacks, Finely-tuned Wind chimes and of all things...Biker Gear located about 15 miles from where we live that I had been meaning to take her to. This gave me the golden opportunity to put the two together...Our First Ride and taking Her to the Quaint Little Shop...It was a Very Special Day for the Both of Us. I really don't know if she even had her eyes opened the trip there because she said she noticed a lot more stuff on the way home... but I did buy her a prize or two while we were there.... She did however pick out a nice pair of motorcycle boots on her own and did a very nice job of getting a very good pair, some good padded shades and gloves. Two days ago she ordered her helmet and jacket to match. I think I might have opened a "Can 'O Worms" here...she now has a $400+ Shopping Cart she emailed me from LeatherUp.com...

...but I couldn't be Happier...

I never thought it would turn out this way either...she is planning a ride for us to do tomorrow and asking me what we could do on her next days off on Mon and Tue...I asked her about the shopping list she sent me..."Well if'n I'm going to ride it...I'm gonna have to look good doing it!" Couldn't be a More Beautiful Sight to me...

Congratulations, BigBird! Any time I get on the bike is fun, but I always enjoy my 2up excursions the most.

If you haven't done it yet, you should consider some type of rider to passenger communication system. Our Valentine's Day gift to each other last year was a set of Sena bluetooth radios. We leave the mics open all the time. Not much talking, but it is nice to be able to share the sights along the road.

I bought a Dual Sena Set-up but I gave the other set to my riding partner before I knew my wife was going to ride with me...guess I'll just have to buy a third kit...

...and Dave, so glad you're right...no Coach, no Michael Kors...etc, but HD is kinda high anyway...
