Whitten Center Ride, Clinton SC - Suzuki Volusia Forums : Intruder Volusia and Boulevard Forum

Went on my first "group ride" with the Boulevard today for the Bob Lullis Memorial Whitten Center ride in Clinton, SC. The Whitten Center is a home for people with disabilities and special needs. They line up outside and wave as all the bikers pass by honking horns and waving. It's really a great site to see, and it's really a special treat for the residents there. I was 3-4 min late to the departure point here in Greenwood, and finally caught up with the rally soon as I got to the town of Clinton. I didn't know there was a police escort, which I was later told escorted the crew around 65ish mph the whole way

It was a good day, with food and live music, donations, tshirts, etc. Ran into some old friends and had company to ride back with. Anywho, here's a few pics of the hundreds of people there and they're very nice bikes

Looks like a good turnout, well done. Spent some time at the old Camp Jackson (Columbia) back in the day. Always a good time when supporting a good cause. Nice Pix too, Best, D
