Default USB outlet in speedo bezel

Good morning all. A while back someone posted a thread on installing a USB connector directly in the speedo bezel. I've been wanting to do that now that the snow has fallen but I can't seem to find that thread again. I've done the obvious searches to no avail and I'm hoping someone out there remembers where to find it.

Oh, and one other question. I'm hoping to power the USB leads directly to the battery (so I can plug in my phone to charge, display gps, and play the radio at the same time), and I'm not sure what size fuse to add to the line.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a thread i posted about the power outlet install. It's not a how-to at all, but it's pretty self explanatory. I used a marine power outlet, and just plug the USB adapter ($10 gas station adapter) in when i need to power a device that requires USB. I ran the wires back to the battery, but i can't remember if there was ever an inline fuse anywhere on/in it.

What have you done to your bike today?

It wasn't my idea, I found an older post of someone else who did it on this forum. Works great so far, just be sure to take your time and mount it clean
