My dad has a solo mustang seat off the road king he just bought. He's getting something else so he can have a passenger and said I could take the mustang if it will fit.
How different is the mustang for the RK vs the C50? Is it possible to mod it to fit? Thanks |

My first thought is no but a good way to find out, if you are not in the same area to try it, is have him take a pic the of underside and see how it is mounted. Measurements would be good also.

Won't fit. Brackets for the Road King are different. You would be better off putting the seat on eBay and buying one for the C50.

Yeah i know I could do the eBay thing, but what fun would that be
![]() I'll keep watching ebay but in the meantime... I had figured the mounting brackets would be different maybe possible to make an adapter plate or similar. I googled and saw some guys doing this on the Raider forum because mustang didn't have a specific seat for the Raider. |

The seat would have to sit in the frame correctly. The only way that you would know that is to pull your seat and place the Mustang seat on there. The curvature may be different.

could always sell the C50 and buy a Road King...should have no problem with the fit then...

Plus I actually felt a little cramped when I was sat on the RK. But haven't had a chance to ride it yet. Plus I just added John's extensions to mine and really like the stretch now. (BTW, I'm 6'3") |
