I’ve been thinking about changing the gadget configuration on end of my 2005 Suzuki C90 for a couple of years now. However, I compare my predicament to that of getting a tattoo. Every time I think I’ve found a good design, I’m just not certain I will be able to live with it. But, one thing’s for certain, the current configuration is not very attractive in my opinion, and I’ve been living with it for too long now.
Here’s what I’ve been thinking about lately...
Here are some options I’ve been thinking about (I may not necessarily buy the hardware from this particular website, but this should give you a basic idea of what I'm trying to accomplish)… a. 1950s LED Lights, 1951-52 Chevy LED Tail Light Assemby - Each ~ Rodworx Street Rod Products - 1-877-763-9679Anyway, I still don’t know what I will do for turn signals (maybe keep the ones I have) or where I will reposition the license plate bracket (perhaps a side mount will work out best)? Anyway, I thought I would present it to the team for some fresh ideas... Other ideas I've had include chopping down the rear fender, giving the bike a more bobber-like appearance. Thanks for your help, Cole

Thanks for the warning, but there's plenty of space between the fender and the tire. The mono-shock has very little give to it, and there's a little over 6" of clearance to work with, so lowering it about 3" shouldn't be much of a problem. If it does, then I can always raise it up again.
So, let's get back into being creative. Ideas please...

25 pages of ideas...
Show me you rearends! I echo the warning on lowering your bike 3 inches, there is not six inches clearance at the top of the tire. Ask me how I know. ![]() A 2 inch drop is much better. You got lots and lots of ideas there and have made a great start, only you can decide which style you like best.

I vote for the 51/52 chevy tail light, it looks like there is plenty of material to contour the housing to the fender then figure out something retro for the turn signals.
I have a 47 plymouth led tail light on mine and dig it. Not a lot of meat on the housing to contour and ended up having to bend the lens to make it fit right. Got it from shineyhiney.com , check them out! |

Thanks for the feedback Motiv. I went ahead and ordered the 51/52 Chevy tail light and will start prepping for the mod next week. I'll post photos as I go. Also, I don't mean to be a jerk about this, but for the guys who are telling me that I don't have 6" of clearance between the top of my rear tire and my fender, here's a photo that I just took for you (**Keep in mind that I own a Suzuki C90**).
![]() Additionally, I can practically do jumping jacks on the back of the fender, and there isn't a whole lot of give to it (may two inches at best), so I'm not really concerned about dropping it around 3" inches. Keep in mind that other members have active forums going on about dropping their bikes 4". Besides, I can always readjust the fender if it doesn't work out for me...it's just 4 bolts and about three minutes of drilling. We're probably making too big of a deal about this, so I'll stop here. Merry Christmas to you all, Cole

I installed a 47' Plymouth LED taillight on my C50 but the bezel required modifying to fit the curvature of the fender the tailight has rapid fire flashing when the brakes are applied, the teardrops on the saddlebags are taillight/blinker/brake and also have rapid fire flashing.
