Default Going naked question

So I have an 04 Vol and I'm looking to get rid of that ugly ***** chrome football. I purchased the oil breather and uni filter and should be arriving soon. Does the carb really need to be rejetted with the new filter?

Don't know about the UNI filter. If it's max air flow you will. K & N does. Too much air flow and not enought gass is not good.

Absolutely has to be rejetted.

This thread should get you in the ballpark.
Rejetting Matrix

To tune it in may take some trial and error on jet sizes. Be patient. If you are not, then don't go Nekkid

Check out this thread, very helpful. I'm Nekkid!!! Now with walk through!

Can someone explain the theory for the rejet? I have put a cold air on my car with no issue. And changed the air filters on other vehicles to more air flow without an issue.
