What Im going to try and do is keep the stock fender struts and make a seat bracket to go between them only 6 bolts to attach when I want to ride 2 up I know that depending on what seat you have that this may not work but for my stock seat it should work fine
Outstanding Bike !
Wish my wife liked to ride. She has only been on the bike twice this year and trembles every time she puts the helmet on so, I took the passenger seat off. I told her she didn't have to worry about it any longer. I'm working on making mine a Bobber now (solo).
:shades:
Nothing is cut...All original parts are simply removed. When I go out on my own I put the bike into a bobber.. When my wife wants to go for a ride with me, I put everything back on so she can go. Bolt on Bolt off.
... and where does one get a rear fender like that (and for how much)? I've seen that fender on a few different bikes now, so I don't think that it's a custom, one-off piece.
My 2008 C50 SE would look great with that fender... especially in the stock silver...
I have just made a bobber style fender from a Russ Wernimont Designs 9" rear fender. Too a bit of cutting but think its starting to get there. The bike has also been lowered 3". The fender is still designed to hold a pillion seat as there are welded strength bars on the internal surface of the fender.
