I'm posting this for Ronnie because he doesn't post that much but wants everyone to know of his new sidecar.
It is not a new sidecar, it is a used one. Ronnie has been talking about getting one for a few years now and has finally pick one up at a great deal. Day 1 of picking up the side car. ![]() He just rolled into his garage when the mod bug hit. Then he put it up on stands and started taking it apart.

First thing to do is remove everything from inside.
![]() Seat comes out, some floor panels, etc. ![]() Look at that tire....wonder how old this sidecar is? ![]() It's made of fiber glass with a metal frame.

Now that it has been gutted time to remove the body from the frame.
![]() Just some bolts in the bottom bolt it to the frame. ![]() Pretty simple.

Ronnie is going to paint the sidecar, top half yellow (like the skull bus) and the bottom half he is going to paint it with a truck bed liner paint.
But first he needs to take the sidecar apart. ![]() Which means spiltting the shell apart. Removed the ribets in the side and walaa!

Ronnie did a lot of thinking for the rims. He hasn't decided what kind of tire he wants to put on it yet, has more homework to do, but did decide to power coat the rims schoolbus yellow like his bike.
![]() Mock up of the sidecar so far.

Looks great so far, but I'm concerned about the toll the heat is taking on poor Ronnie. This is what he looked like when he started the project:
![]() and here he is mid-day: ![]() That hot Nevada weather really dehydrates a person!?!?!?!?! ![]() Just kidding...looks great Ronnie, can't wait to see the finished product, hopefully in person! Thanks for posting the pics Paul!
