That depends on how much work I need to put into them.

The design, material (1/4" aluminum for the rack and .060" stainless for the brackets) ,ss hardware and water-jet cutting and bending will be in the $20-$30 range (+ shipping). If you would want the edges rounded over, (that takes about an hour), and polishing (that also takes about an hour), I'd ask for another $20.

man, that looks great! If I could do that, I would start up a biz selling custom fender tips...seems like you could do that really easily, and undercut the competition significantly. Just an idea, but I would love to see what you could do in this area, and would be much more willing to pay you than $70-100 for a fender tip from someone else....and if the aluminum is polished nicely, for the right price, who cares if its not chrome?

Fender tips, fender tips fender tips, front and rear. Did I say fender tips? I agree, I would rather pay a self-motivated, industrious, creative member who took the time to engineer a product for our bikes than pay some deep pocket supply house.

Are you still making the billet racks? I have a 03 Volusia with a mustang seat. Can you give me a estimate on cost?
Thanks
Dave
