V Star Bobber Project....Updates Page 2. 1/16/09

I had two threads one on a springer, one one dishing tanks. Here they are on one thread. This is my Vsta bobber project. I like how its going so far.

Thinking about painting the dish on the tank chrome and chrome flames, then painting the base candy pagen gold. Then maybe gold metal flake and black. I just don't know yet.

Looking great! Just curious...did you even put 100 miles on that bike prior to taking it apart???

Nope Maybe 50 or 60 miles, long enough to figure out what I didn't like about it. That way I can change everything I hate this winter.

i will need to see this thing finished to tell if that front end will look right, but as of right now looks out of place to me. did you just beat the sides on the tank in? i wish that was what i did instead i cut mine and was going to flip them but tis did not work out as well as i had hoped. but i found a fellow with a English wheel and is willing to help me out so i hope i will have that issue resolved
