Haven't been on the site for awhile. No excuse.....just busy with other stuff, like fishing. Since I have a Honda Civic I'm limited to towing a jon boat so I bought an old 12' aluminum Sears Game Fisher. Motor is great......boat not so good. I fixed almost all the leaks but have no confidence in the boat. So I went out yesterday and bought another jon boat.....fiberglass this time with a bigger motor. Anyone want to buy a slightly leaky boat?
For those new to the site and don't know me, consider yourselves lucky! LOL To my friends, online and personal, I miss y'all!!!!!! :wayhappy:
good to see you still alive and kicking...no guarantees on that any more when one crosses over into the golden years...hope all is well and florida is treating you well.
Hey Barry .... good to see your post .... before you know it, it will be time for MLB spring training .... maybe the good weather will bring up north for a visit ... there is a Philly Cheesesteak here with your name on it.
Whaddup Barry...I did the prodigal son, er, uh, rider thing recently too. Bought another Vol 2 weeks ago so now I'm saying hello to old friends and introducing myself to a crapload of people that don't have any idea who I am!:-D
Anyway...glad things are going well. Maybe you could sell the boat to that informerical company for the spray-on leak fixer. Just a thought.
Just follow Red/Green's advice and fix the leaks with the handy man's friend Duck Tape. Duck Tape is perfect for a leaky boat.
The 49-year-old Maine native said Tuesday he's been paddling the waters of metro Boston since October with all his possessions aboard a 14-foot, 40-year-old aluminum canoe he patches with duct (duck) tape when necessary.
